Final Table Recap

Action was fierce from the get-go with several all-ins leading to lots of double ups. Players traded chips for sometime before Hanna Khalife, who started the day in the chip lead eventually became the first to fall. His elimination hand saw Yun Bong’s big slick crack his pocket queens.

Next to fall was Dylan Kii who walked out in seventh place after his pocket eights failed to hold up against Yun’s pocket sixes as the latter hit a full house.

The eventual champion Lester Edoc then busted Patrick Liang when the latter’s pocket eights were dominated by Edoc’s Ax 7x, as the latter rivered two pairs.

Heading out next in fifth place was Yun Bong who shoved with and got called by Flo Campomanes’s . Campomanes clipped an Ace-pair on the board and took down the pot.

Down to four-handed play, Derrick Hernandez shoved with and was snap-called by Yoshimura who tabled . The board blanked out and Hernandez finished fourth.

Campomaneswas going strong in the event but lost a huge pot to eventual runner up Yoshimura. Soon thereafter, Edoc relegated him to the rail in third place with pocket aces.

Heads up, Edoc started with a lead of just one big blind against Yoshimura and during the course of the battle, the lead was exchanged several times. Edoc eventually got very short but after numerous all in’s, Edoc finally got called and won.

Among the few standout hands from the heads-up match, Edoc`s first won with against Yoshimura’s to score a huge double up and managed another double-up to claim a chip lead of almost 6:1 over Yoshimura. Despite doubling up Yoshimura one time, it didn’t take long for Edoc to seal the deal and the final hand saw Edoc’s against Yoshimura . The board fanned out and just like that, Edoc was crowned the champion.
