Baadshah Gaming Live Tournament Kicks Off on Dec 7; Follow The Exclusive Live Coverage of the Series on PokerGuru

The poker community is abuzz with uncontrolled excitement for a thrilling week ahead, for the Baadshah Gaming Live Tournament that is to be hosted onboard Goa’s Casino Pride. The inaugural series is set to kick-off on December 7 and is slated to run till December 10 featuring four exciting tournaments. Headlining the action will be the two-day ₹30K Main Event (December 9 -10) which boasts of ₹30 lakhs in guaranteed prizes.

The new tournament series is the brainchild of long-time poker industry veteran Madhav ‘Maddy’ Gupta, who floated the site Baadshah Gaming earlier this year and has managed the poker room at Casino Pride for almost eight years. Gupta moved to Mumbai last year to set up the Baadshah Gaming site which offers a first-of-a-kind single wallet for multiple games of skill (poker, rummy and fantasy sports) while continuing to manage the poker room at Casino Pride which has been re-branded to Baadshah Gaming Live. It all fit perfectly, as The Pride Group had bought a 30% stake in Baadshah Gaming’s parent company OceanKing Software Solutions LLP in July this year.

The series was announced earlier this year and was supposed to be hosted in September but got re-scheduled to December as Gupta’s idea for the series was to do something which has never been done before i.e. an open-air poker tournament. The plan was to rebuild the entire deck at Casino Pride for the event that couldn’t be done by September, hence the series was postponed.

The tournament series will be supported by seminars from professional poker players, an Awards Night and an epic After Party for all participants.

The event promises to be a high-octane one, with players getting a chance to compete with the crème de la crème of poker pros from across the country. To put the icing on the cake, the series is 100% rake free!

To the delight for all budding poker players, Baadshah Gaming will be hosting a special pro seminar on December 8, 2017 onboard Casino Pride Goa.
