New 888poker XL Inferno Championships Announced; WSOP Packages as Rewards

Summer promises to be a rich bonanza for players, coming as it does with international online poker tournaments, followed by the globally-coveted World Series Of Poker (WSOP) 2017 in May.

888poker has just announced not one, but three thunderous series – the XL Inferno Championships, to run from May 7 to 21 with a $7.5 million in guarantees. This will be followed by the XL Eclipse slated for September and the XL Blizzard in January 2018.

This time around, 888poker is doing its bit for charity and three events i.e. Inferno ‘Chip-in’ Super High Roller with a $5,200 buy-in, $109 Mini and $55 Turbo, will raise funds for REG’s Global Poverty Charity Portfolio, partners with 888poker.

The series has been increased to 14 days and will have more events. The Main Event in each series will have a tingling $1.5 million prize pool.

XL Inferno Championship

Players can avail this with miniscule $10 deposits at 888poker, which earn them three XL Qualifier Tournament tickets for free. There will also be daily qualifiers to the $1,050 Main Event with three seats to top finishers. Main Events will also be available in three categories of standard, mini and macro, besides a Turbo Main Event on Sunday, May 21.

Want high-octane momentum, but lack the bankroll? No problem, there is a $215 Mini High Roller with $150,000 up for grabs.

Those longing high stakes action can catch the $2,100 High Roller $500K guaranteed on May 9.
