It was only last month that PokerStars hosted a special 12th Anniversary Edition Sunday Million with a gigantic $10 Million prize pool guarantee, all with the buy-in unchanged from the convention $215 prize point players pay every week.

Let’s just say that the turnout was not very encouraging as despite attracting 43,975 entries (34,274 unique entries and 9,701 re-entries), the prize money collected fell well short of the advertised $10 Million – over $1.2 Million to be precise. PokerStars being PokerStars, paid up the overlay and in total 7,334 players went home richer than when they entered the tournament with Hulk9950 taking home the title along with $960,000 in prize money following a three-way deal.

Believe it or not, but PokerStars is taking another crack at this with a Sunday Million Anniversary Edition: Take 2 on April 22.

The guarantee you ask? The prize pool guaranteed will once again be a gigantic $10 Million with a cool $1 Million assured to the winner. PokerStars will also be giving away a Platinum Pass worth $30,000 during the late registration period of the event where players will be selected at random and entered in an instant tournament. The winner of this tournament will punch his ticket to the biggest live event ever hosted by PokerStars – $25,000 PokerStars Players No-Limit Championship to be hosted in The Bahamas from January 6-10, 2019.

Win More Riches in Spin & Go’s

It`s raining prizes at PokerStars with the site announcing limited-edition Spin & Go`s with prizes up to $ 1 Million in cash and Sunday Million Anniversary tickets up for grabs.

Running until April 22, these special Spin & Go events can convert a small $5 buy-in into a hefty $1,000,000 windfall, all within minutes and if that was not enough, PokerStars is also giving away tournament tickets to the Sunday Million Anniversary Edition: Take 2. Additionally, if the $1 Million top prize tier hits, both runner-up finishers win $100,000 each.
