The poker tables in Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino went ablaze on Wednesday as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2018’s $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 Or Better Championship whittled down to a final table of six players from the twenty-two who had returned for play on Day 3.

Quick bustouts and exciting hands headlined Day 3 play and Eli Elezra (cover image), with a stack of 2,700,000 leads the final six players. Adam Coats is second-in-command with 1,820,000 chips in his bag. The two, along with Dustin Dirksen, Viacheslav Zhukov, Paul Volpe and Kyle Miaso will return to compete for the coveted gold bracelet and a first place payday of $417,921! The final table will be streamed live.

Through Day 3, Lars Gronning busted out first, followed by Daniel Alaei, Scott Bohlman, Nikolai Yakovenko, Chris Bjorin, Felipe Ramos, Mike Gorodinsky, Dylan Linde, Talon White, Steve Chanthabouasy and Mike Matusow.

It looked like Jesse Martin would make it to the final table, but not so. Martin busted out in 10th place for $25,619.

Per Hildebrand bounced off in ninth place for $31,977 and Dan Zack was quick to follow, heading out in eighth place for $40,715.

On the last hand of the day, Robert Mizrachi was on his way to win a massive pot with nut flush draw but the community cards were not in his favour and Mizrachi was relegated to the rail at seventh place for $52,866.

Day 2 play will resume at level 21, with blinds of 40,000/80,000 and it remains to be seen who on the final table, that’s heavy with pros and former WSOP champs like Elezra, Volpe and Zhukov, will win the bracelet.
