Day 1F Recap

Day 1F was the biggest starting flight so far at the €550 COLOSSUS NLHE with 405 entries. After 18 levels of play, the field was whittled down to just 38 participants with Italy’s Nico Mussini leading the way with a massive stack of 918,000. Former EPT Grand Final champion Jan Bendik (812,000) and Rifat Gegic (712,000) rounded up the top three spots on the leaderboard.

Rakesh Lalwani returned on Day 1F, but unfortunately he was unable to make the cut once again. He moved all-in blind for what appeared to be 8,000 and was called two ways, by Bjoern Bouwmans and Mohame Lafchouch. The flop fell card 2card 3card 3. Bouwmans jammed and Lafchouch called instantly. Lalwani tabled card 3card 3, while Bouwmans held card 2card 2 and Lafchouch turned over card 3card 2. The card 1 and card 1 completed the board and Lafchouch’s three-of-a-kind kings resulted in the double elimination of Lalwani and Bouwmans.
