2015 The Poker Year

2015 has been a flagship year for Indian Poker and I am sure we all agree that we saw the most number of happy faces from players and operators alike in this small yet one of the fastest growing industries in India.

A number of new brands, along with the old veterans in the industry stepped in with their contribution to further fuel the growth of the industry and all this would not have been possible without the support and contributions of the following : Pokerhigh.com, Deltin Royale, pokerbazi.com, Spartanpoker.com, nobleaces.com, adda52.com, thrillpoker.com, starpoker.in, khelo365.com, Stars poker room blr, Indian Poker Face Mumbai, IPA blr and Kol, Pokermasti, Checkraise, bluffdaddy, Rockets Poker room along with some crazy tournament action with India Poker Championship, Hifi Tour, TILT, Rockets series, THOS and many more I may have missed. The media teams which got these contribution to our notice and played the most important role and my favorite teams PokerGuru, Gutshot and PPA.

Again, these brands are headed by very intelligent and passionate visionaries & entrepreneurs yet extremely humble and approachable and few of them are my close friends. Hence I take the liberty to thank Navneet Srinivas, Deepak Bedi, Mithun Rebello, Anil Malani, Navkiran Singh, Puneet Singh, Rajat Agarwal, Sameer Rattonsey, Peter Abraham, Rajeev Kanjani, Rohit Bhalla, Aditya Agarwal, Abhigya Sagar, Raman Gujral, Anuj Gupta, Aditya Oberoi, Ankit Doogar, Rajeev Raut, Vasim Rozani, Emraan Faruk, Saumil Mehta, Suresh, Kavin Shah, Praveen Dwarkanath & Rupal Bansal for their contributions this year and I hope to see them all reach new heights in their respective endeavors in 2016 with many more names joining the list this year.

I would like to add that its the combination of the efforts put in by all these teams that have helped poker grow close to three-folds this year and I am very confident that when people talk about ‘2015 The Poker Year’, these entrepreneurs and their teams will be recognized and awarded handsomely for their share of contributions.
