A Bittersweet Year

Hi everyone, back to blogging after a decent hiatus.

Now seems to be an excellent time to reflect on what this past year was like, especially since we are about two weeks away from the time last year, where the definition of a normal lifestyle changed for many years to come.

This past year proved to be bittersweet for poker circuit regulars, online and otherwise. Live events took a hit for the worst, while many were confined to the bounds of their homes. On the flip side, it brought along the opportunity for many to put in more study and volume by being unable to step out.

While many young guns burst onto the scene, the regulars and pros proved their mettle over & over.

For me personally, the year that went by was a real rollercoaster. I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in almost all tournament series and flagships.

It also allowed me to recalibrate my on-table strategy several times in terms of what works and what doesn’t. It also helped me align the approach I would take in particular scenarios with what I was studying off the table.

Results-wise, the year wasn’t glamorous at all. However, the lone bright spot I took away from the year was the fundamental strategy changes I needed to bring to my game.

With this in mind and another lockdown looming nearby, I will continue the volume I have been putting, and hopefully, the new strategy changes will finally start producing significant results.

I am going into Spartan Poker`s FTS 2.0 with new vigor and energy.

Good luck, all the best at the tables, and be safe!

and, just keeping grinding !!!!!!
