Grind Grind Grind

Hi all, it has been a long time since my last blog. I have only been playing and grinding online MTT’s these past few months. From 7 pm till 3am every day, my life is – grind and then devote a few hours in studying. PokerGuru Staking helps me a lot, and we are regularly reviewing my hand histories and trying to fix the leaks.

Before I used to mainly watch videos but now I am studying way more. Adi’s sessions are really helping a lot, and currently, the only focus is to improve my skill in the game. Training under Adi has helped me tremendously as he is a great teacher and really explains all the concepts very quickly.

So 7-8 hours poker and 3-4 hours of study every day. Before I used to take a break on Saturdays but now I take them either on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

This Sunday was a BUMPER one for me as I shipped the Sunday Special on PokerStars India and finished runner up in PokerBaazi`s BSS Megastack. I wasn’t getting any score for last one month, so it feels good that I got some excellent scores this Sunday.

On PokerStars, I reached the final table fifth in chips. As it was a bounty event, players were really open shoving wide, and within a matter of time, the field got down to six players. At that point, I played an interesting hand with my fellow stablemate and PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Chadha. I opened from cut off with Queen Jack, he 3-bet with pocket tens, and I called. The flop was Jack 2 2, and I jammed. He tanked a lot and eventually called. After that, I got a massive chip lead, and thereon, it was easy game.

On Baazi, the heads up play went ON and ON for 45 minutes. It was really a deep structure, and we both had 40 bigs. We exchanged chip lead a lot, and eventually, my Ace 9 lost to his pocket eights, and I took second place.

I also recently went for a cash game festival in Kolkata to play some live cash. For now, the plan is to keep grinding online. I want to also focus on my health and fitness, but unfortunately, I have not able to devote much time to it. For now, it looks like my life is going to be only Poker Poker Poker!
