Living the Goan way…

Not really. Pizzas for lunch everyday isnt really living the Goan way but what the heck I am in Goa.

I have not been playing much online from the time I am in Goa and I have started missing it terribly. We have taken a break from online and had been grinding live tourneys and cash for the most of this month. With the world gaming festival and the IPP in the coming weeks, it doesnt look like the trend is gonna change.

For a change, I have been putting a lot of cash game volume and I am kinda liking it. Although, the 100-200 in Goa goes a lil buckwild its fun to play those. Huge swings are a part of the game in these stakes as people are ready to gamble with any 2 cards.

I lost a few 80k + pots being a huge favorite with one card to come and I figured out that the Bankroll u need to crack these games is huge, unless u are really good with shortstack play.

Shifting from tourneys to cash was a huge challenge, as I dint know how to find the balance. There are a lotta tourney specific strategies, which has nothing to do with cash games. And being a tourney pro, it was really difficult for me to adjust to the cash games. I played too nitty and failed to extract max value in a lot of spots. Well, I guess its all a part of the learning process and I hope the learning curve is fast in cash too.
