The APT Hanoi Billions Main Event’s Flight C concluded spectacularly, with a strong contingent of 12 Indian players securing their spots for Day 2. Spearheading this group was none other than WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer. Known for his exceptional skills and victory at the 2019 APT Vietnam Main Event, Iyer topped his team with an impressive chip stack of 193,400.
Highlighting the Indian team’s success, Abishek Srivatsa stood out with a notable stack of 157,300, closely followed by Daniyal Kazi, who amassed 130,800. Raju Jaruplavath, a veteran in the live poker scene, was not far behind with 128,900 chips. Adding to the list of top performers was the widely recognized Young Gun Gaurav Sood, the most celebrated player on our tracked database, advancing with a commendable 105,600.
Other notable Indian players who made it through included Adda52 Ambassador Arun Sriram (92,300), Young Gun Neel Joshi (88,400), Bhavik Khatsuria (70,500), Deepankur Gupta (61,500), Paawan Bansal (23,800), Pratibha Arya (10,500), and Young Gun Kanchan Sharma (2,000).
These 12 players joined the ranks of Indian qualifiers for Day 2, bringing the total to an impressive 42, as the event’s final flight was still underway.
