APT Hanoi Billions 2023 Main Event: Sanish Chhabra is the Torchbearer For 30 Indians Advancing to Day 3
• Level 17: 3,000 -6,000,6,000 Ante

The record-setting APT Hanoi Billions 2023 Main Event has reached an exciting juncture with the money bubble crossed and Day 3 on the horizon. Leading the charge for the Indian contingent is none other than Sanish Chhabra, the renowned EndBoss champion. Chhabra showcased exceptional prowess at the tournament tables of Hanoi’s National Convention Centre today, ending Day 2 with a formidable stack of 605,000 chips, making him the frontrunner among the 30 Indian players who have advanced.

Starting the day with an above-average 1,81,900 chips, he more than tripled that count over the nine-plus hours of play. Chabbra`s phenomenal run also makes him one of two Indians in the top 20 overall in chips, with Rising Star Pratibh Saluja (598,000) not far behind.

Other Indians carrying hefty stacks forward include Mohit Bohra (535,000), Tick Tock BOOM finalist Siddharth Mundada (507,000), and Karan Gupta (378,000).

Vishal Ojha, who started Day 2 as the chip leader for Team India, had a tough day at the tables, ending the day shorter at 286,000 compared to the 322,400 he started with.

All 30 advancing Indian players have locked in at least VN₫ 56.13 Million. However, their eyes are set on the coveted title and the enormous top prize of VN₫ 11.83 Billion ($485,880).

Despite the strong showing by many, not all Indian players were fortunate enough to make it through Day 2. Among the 50 who began the day, notables like former APT Main Event champion and WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer, Nishant Sharma, Rishab Malik, PokerBaazi Team Pro Abhishek Goindi, Raju Jaruplavath, Pranav Bagai, Young Gun Neel Joshi, Kabir Tandon, Ashish Munot, Ritesh Khatwani, and Bhavik Khatsuria were unable to cross the money line.

The APT Hanoi Billions Main Event has made history as the largest Main Event in Vietnam, with 2,350 entries (1,334 unique). The remaining 351 players are now gearing up to play down to the final 16 on Friday, December 8.
