APT Hanoi Billions Main Event Flight 1A Shatters Records, Vishal Ojha 6th Overall in Chips as 22 Indians Make Day 2
• Level 10: 600 -1,200,1,200 Ante

The APT Hanoi Billions VND 25 Billion GTD Main Event has catapulted into the annals of history with a record-shattering opening day!

Surpassing the record set earlier this year in the APT Taipei (437 entries) by over 50%, a vast field of 668 entries (520 unique) turned up on Day 1A, and 248 players advanced! This was further bolstered by an additional 213 entries from Natural8 OnLive, catapulting the total to an astounding 883 entries!

And guess what? The advertised prize pool was crushed on Day 1A itself, and three more flights are to go!

Vietnam’s Thang Do Quang, the APT Ho Chi Minh Single Day High Roller champion from last year, ended the day with the largest stack and will return on Day 2 with 397,800 chips.

Representing India, 22 players have successfully advanced, with Vishal Ojha at the forefront, boasting a formidable 322,400 stack. Ojha, who has already earned a USOP Main Event title and numerous deep runs in major Asian circuit events, including a runner-up finish in Event #18: VN₫ 50 Million Single Day High Roller – 8 Max earlier in the day, is a strong contender to watch in this historic tournament.
