The APT Hanoi Billions Main Event Flight D concluded with a remarkable performance from Indian players, as nine of them successfully bagged chips for Day 2. Leading this impressive group was Rising Star Aman Parakh. Parakh, who had previously achieved a runner-up finish in Event #16: Sunday Super Stack, topped the Indian team with an outstanding stack of 175,100.
Following closely was Pratibh Saluja, another Rising Star, who ended the day with an impressive 141,400 in chips. Suresh Kolli also made a strong finish, bagging 109,100.
Adding to the list of notable achievers was Pranav Bagai, the CEO of Poker Sports League, who advanced with a solid stack of 105,500.
Interestingly, Pratibha Arya, who had previously bagged from Flight C with 10,500 chips, re-entered in Flight D and improved her position significantly by bagging 85,700. This made her the only Indian player to qualify twice, and she will proceed to Day 2 with her larger stack from Flight D.
Other Indian players who successfully made it through included Shailesh Kumar Patel, who finished fifth in Event #16: Sunday Super Stack, bagging 100,000 chips, alongside Kabir Tandon (72,200), Vinay B (55,900), and Karan Gupta (39,200).
These nine players have now joined the growing ranks of Indian qualifiers for Day 2, bringing the total to a commendable 50 unique entries, with the opportunity for late registrations open until the start of Day 2.
