Sankesh Jain Wins NPS Golden Rush For a Career-Best ₹9 Lakhs and Gold Medal
• Level 9: 4,000 -8,000,1,000 Ante

30-year-old Sankesh Jain has done it – extending his start of the FT chip lead into a career-best seven-figure payday and the prestigious NPS gold medal.

The poker pro from Chennai, Sankesh Jain, scored a thumping victory in the last event at NPS 2.0, the ₹1 Crore GTD NPS Golden Rush, and banked a whopping ₹9 Lakhs cash prize, courtesy of a heads-up deal. He bested the in-form Arbaaz Ahmed in heads-up play.

Speaking to us after the event, Jain disclosed that he`s primarily a cash game pro who also plays mid-stakes MTTs and went professional 3-4 years ago. He was earlier involved in his family`s property mortgage business and owns a supermarket in Chennai!

That brings our coverage of the NPS 2.0 to an end. You can continue following PokerGuru for more updates from the Baazi Poker Tour.

We will put up a tournament recap of the NPS Golden Rush FT soon!
