And that’s the end of Level 8 here in Goa! Match 2 of the National Poker Champion showdown has reached its second scheduled break of the night, and somewhat unexpectedly, all six starting state champions still have chips in front of them!

The last few levels saw plenty of action, with chips changing hands frequently. Snehil Aggarwal has been particularly active, notably getting involved in several pots with Zarvan Tumboli and applying some of his own unconventional tactics against the experienced pro. Despite all the play and some interesting spots, nobody has been sent to the rail yet.

However, with eight levels now complete and the blinds set to increase again after this break, the stacks are getting shallower. That means things could get spicy very quickly when play resumes. Eliminations might come thick and fast now!
