Zarvan Tumboli Wins ₹100K Highroller For Career-Best ₹50.03 Lakhs, Strikes Heads-Up Deal With Atul Jaiswal
• Level 29: 150,000 -300,000, Ante

After 13 hours of grueling play, Zarvan Tumboli (cover image) came out on top in the Baazi Poker Tour ₹100K Highroller, collecting a personal-best ₹50.03 Lakhs and his first BPT trophy! The two-day BPT Highroller logged in a 259-entry field, generating a jaw-dropping ₹2.46 Crores prize pool, and 33 places got paid. Only 107 players returned on Day 2, with late registrations open until the end of the first level of play.

Tumboli entered the stacked final table in the second chip lead and became the table captain after eliminating Jayraj Ninama in fourth place. Armed with the chip lead, he muscled his way to the top by applying pressure on the other finalists. He eliminated his biggest threat Young Gun Sahil Chutani, in third place before facing Atul Jaiswal in the heads-up play. The two finalists quickly struck a deal, and Tumboli locked in ₹50.03 Lakhs and Jaiswal ₹44.75 Lakhs, keeping just the trophy in play. Tumboli promptly took down the event, adding his name as the latest BPT Highroller champion!

28-year-old Atul Jaiswal is a PLO cash game reg who did incredibly well to finish runner-up in what appears to be his first live final table finish. At one point on the final table, Jaiswal was the chip lead and was responsible for eliminating the two short stacks, PokerGuru Ambassadors Kartik Ved and Ashish Ahuja.

The tournament’s deep structure left room for a lot of play, and it took over seven hours for the money bubble to burst. PokerBaazi Team Pro Pratibha Arya was the unfortunate player to depart in 34th place, and that too with pocket aces!

A long list of notables finished in the money. Some of them include Jaideep Sajwan (9th for ₹5.60 Lakhs), Young Gun Devang Yadav (10th for ₹4.74 Lakhs), Sriharsha Doddapaneni (13th for ₹4.06 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh (14th for ₹4.06 Lakhs), Nikunj Jhunjhunwala (15th for ₹4.06 Lakhs), Romit Advani (17th for ₹3.42 Lakhs), Jasven Saigal (18th for ₹3.42 Lakhs), Young Gun Siddhanth Kripalni (20th for ₹2.80 Lakhs), Kanishk Upreti (23rd for ₹2.21 Lakhs), Nishant Sharma (24th for ₹2.21 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal Bajaj (25th for ₹1.92 Lakhs), 2019 BPT Highroller champion Rohit Jinwal (28th for ₹1.70 Lakhs), Vidwath Shetty (31st for ₹1.70 Lakhs) and Sahil Mahboobani (33rd for ₹1.70 Lakhs).
