      Congratulations to Ben Lamb, winner of Event #42: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship. But boy was it close that he almost lost all his chips in the final hand. Below you can see how the last super-exciting hand between Ben Lamb, from Las Vegas, and Sami Kelopuro, from finland, was played out.

      Both players had equal amount of chips when Kelopuro bet 240,000 preflop on the button, Lamb called.

      The flop came down As9h3d and Lamb check-called a bet of 275,000. The turn was the Qs and Lamb checked again. It didn’t take long before Kelopuro fired 675k. Lamb responded by raising the pot. Kelopuro took a deep breath and went all in. Lamb quickly called.

      Kelopuro had top 2 pairs and needed to dodge all spades and 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s. The 5d fell on the river and Kelopuro was knocked out in second place for $503,173. The winner, Ben Lamb, rushed up to his friends and celebrated his first WSOP bracelet and the biggest win of his career – $814,436!
