The €4,250 buy-in EPT Tallinn Main Event is now down to final eight players. Ronny Kaiser will start the final table tomorrow as a chip leader, and he will have to oust the likes of Sami “LarsLuzak/LrskLzk” Kelopuro and Jani Sointula to claim the title.
This is the first EPT final table for Sami Kelopuro, who has had a great year so far in tournaments.
Currently Patrik Antonius and Jens Kyllönen are the only Finns to win a EPTtournament, but we might just see third Finnish EPT winner tomorrow, since three of the final eight players are from Finland (Kelopuro, Sointula and Vainionkulma).

      Final eight:

      1 – Grzegorz Cichocki – 2,059,000
      2 – Raigo Aasmaa – 904,000
      3 – Jani Sointula – 769,000
      4 – Stuart Fox – 514,000
      5 – Arvi Vainionkulma – 258,000
      6 – Sami Kelopuro – 1,325,000
      7 – Erlend Melsom – 365,000
      8 – Ronny Kaiser – 2,394,000

      Final table prizes:

      1. €275,000
      2. €180,000
      3. €110,000
      4. €80,000
      5. €55,000
      6. €45,000
      7. €35,000
      8. €25,000

Ronny Kaiser from Switzerland has won the first tournament of the European Poker Tour Season 8. Kaiser earned €275,000 after winning the €4,250 buy-in EPT Tallinn Main Event.

Kaiser completely dominated the final table and eliminated, for example, all of the three finnish players (Jani Sointula, Sami “LarsLuzak/LrsLzk” Kelopuro and Arvi Vainionkulma) on his way to victory.

Kaiser had earned almost $200,000 from live tournaments before this win, and according to some source Kaiser is a high-stakes PLO cash game specialist.

It seems also that Kaiser is the man behind the nickname “1-Ronnyr3” on PokerStars.

EPT Tallinn Main Event Final Results (buy-in €4,250, 282 players):

      1 – Ronny Kaiser, Switzerland, €275,000

      3 – Raigo Aasmaa, Estonia, €110,000

      5 – Stuart Fox, UK €55,000
      6 – Erlend Melsom, Norway €45,000
