Memberbeen grinding these $2.5 180s fr a few days and have experienced shoves like these at these stages just so they can pick up the pot….most of the time they have hands like AT, JK, KQ etc….so took a chance….

MemberI guess that’s ok then , given ur read and it’s a 180 man.. I thought this was a 10 man sng. When u noticed shoves like the one’s u mentioned , did you also notice the stack sizes of the opponents who were shoving with the hands you mentioned ?
If they are open shoving 17 BB stacks with AT and KJ UTG , I would call with 10s too in a 180-man or MTT .
I would fold this in a 10 man sng.
Also the next time u post a hand , including the format in the thread title helps to make a decision much easier 🙂 Include ur position in the sng also . (Like 55/89 in a 180 man) .
Whenever it’s a close call , I take into account the format , turbo / non-turbo , my stack size compared to others and how far away I’m from the money and deciding whether to call/fold.
Hope that helps. -

MemberUTG player shoved in the pre flop, so definitely he had a premium. You had the biggest stack. Taking that point, I might have folded in that situation. But if the UTG player was quite loose, then I might or might not play, depends.
