I sat down with 12k on a 100/200 table. This was my third dealt hand (folded the first two), so I had no reads on anyone.
      Please suggest how I played:

      9 handed table:-
      Hero (HJ): 12,000
      CO: about 20,000-25,000

Pre Flop: Hero is HJ with K :clubs: Q :spade:
Hero raises to 1000, CO calls 1000, SB & BB Fold.

(I know I raised a lot here, but that the standard raise there, people just call with nything on a raise of 600-800)

      Flop: (2300) Q :clubs: 10 :clubs: 5 :clubs: (2 players)
Hero bets 1600, CO calls 1700

      Turn: (5500) 2 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets 2900, CO calls 2900

      River: (11300) 9 :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets 6500 (calls me allin basically), Hero Calls

don’t see anything wrong here.. wp.. ul if you are beat .. reload.. 🙂

edit: ^^ this is because you are short stacked.. cant do much.. going broke with TPGK 60bb eff is not bad here imo..

      Seems fine.

      Very nice hand.
Vinay, In hind sight, I think being a 60BB stack was good for this hand.

i dont think u can call the river…when u are betting through and through and u get bet into on the river u usually beat (thats what i have observed in cash games usually).. only a lone A club may bluff there that too when u have a bigger stack behind u…

Seriously? Do you think I should have folded there? I had 6500 behind and the pot was 18000 (11500+6500)..

i am sure most of us would have done the same…just bad luck….move on
and river is call…..pot is 11k and he raised 6.5k…TPTK at that stack sized is a call
