British MTT pro Chirs ‘Moorman1’ Moorman won three tournaments in three different online poker rooms within a week, collecting his 12th Triple Crown.

While it does not come with any special prize, the P5s Triple Crown is one of the most coveted title for online tournament players, right next to the great end-of-the-year awards. This is mainly due to the fact that it is outstandingly difficult to obtain, requiring victories in tournaments in three distinct online rooms within one weekÂ’s time.

This is how the P5s Triple Crown is earned:

A player must win three multi-table tournaments, each of which start within the same seven day period across three of any of the sites we track for P5er cashes.

Each tournament must have a prize pool of at least $10K.

Each tournament must have at least 100 players.

      Satellite tournaments do not count.

Wins must be verified by the staff from data collected from the sites themselves.

The real trick, however, is to take down the title on multiple occasions. Only eight players have so far collected 5 or more Triple Crowns, the most held by British MTT pro Chris ‘Moorman1’ Moorman, who had owned 11 titles up to November, 2012, when he increased his lead by one more.

On 16 November, Moorman won the FTP $163 NLHE tournament for $7,654, two tourneys on PokerStars on the 18th (a $109 NLHE Turbo for $5,760 and a $215+R NLHE for $20,654) and topped his run with a victory at WilliamHill on the 19th, the $30 NLHE (1R1A) for $4,141.

“Won my first triple crown in over 2 years this week! Now time to go for number 13…” Moorman tweeted.

Following ‘Moorman1’, ‘Bealabacsi’ is the runner-up on the Triple Crown top players list: the Hungarian boasts 10 titles. The 3rd place is currently held by Mickey ‘mementmori’ Petersen with 8 Triple Crowns.

The Triple Crown Top 10 is as follows:

      Moorman1 – 12
      Belabacsi – 10
      mementmori – 8
      o11pokerdr – 7
      1banditpanda – 6
      JLizard – 6
      scnoodle – 5
      noctus – 5
      jalman1 – 4
      Naza114 – 4
