World Champion of Online Poker (WCOOP) is an online poker tournament series, sponsored by PokerStars. Currently running in its twelfth year, the series is touted to be the biggest online poker extravaganza. In an attempt, by online giant PokerStars to create an online equivalent of World Series of Poker, WCOOP was established in 2002.

Just a week back, PokerStars released a draft schedule of WCOOP 2013 to receive the player feedback on the same and suggested that the final schedule will be released after incorporating the comments and feedback of its members.

After a review period of four days, PokerStars has released the revised schedule of this yearÂ’s WCOOP.

The series is set to begin on Sunday, September 8th and scheduled to run for three long weeks till September 29th. The structure includes 66 events running the gamut of PokerStars offerings, including Zoom tournaments, knockouts, Badugi, HORSE, 8-game, and more.

The noticeable changes from the last schedule include the change in the main event buy-in from $10,300 to $5,200, a two-day event which will take place on Sunday, Sep 29th. Apart from this, a new WCOOP kick-off tournament has been added to be held on the opening day of the series, i.e. 8th Sep, the change of the 10-Max shooutout to a $1,050 NLHE two-day event and the high roller events returning to $10,300.

The tournament guarantees have not yet been decided and will be announced as and when the decision is made.

PokerStars will be starting the satellite events from 8th Aug and the latest draft schedule, which looks like almost final now, is as follows:
