78 Participants entered the $1 buy-in tournament, so we had an overlay of $132 offering excellent value to all the participants. We offered a special promotion for all PokerGuru members and gave away $10 on 888 Poker to the first 10 members who introduced themselves on our forum. As a second chance we repeated this promotion leading to the $200 Guarantee tournament.
We lost more than half the field in a little over one hour. Pearljuhi made a deep finish in 18th position and other notable player in the tournament was bubblestar who was well placed for most of the tournament and finished 7th. Also impressive was rolly36 who finished 3rd. 3 hours into the tournament and we were in the money.
