MemberHello everybody,
Hope everyone is having a gud time at the tables… As most of the pokerguru members must be aware that Pokerstars Micromillions II has been announced. Schedule of whole series can be seen here . As we can c it is a Long series having 100 small to low stakes tourney during 10 days duration. I am proposing a singles competition for all fellow pokerguru members here… Most of pokerguru members must be aware of how a singles competitions for a series work as many must have participated on other forums like 2+2 and/ or Pocketfives… if not rules are as follows…
1) All pokerguru members can join. ( Indian but no restriction on their current location )
2) Buyin for whole series is 200 USD..which all players will need to deposit to a neutral player who is not playing in this competition agreed by all participants.
3) Total Score after all tourneys will be taken into account( PLB score of pocketfives will be easier since it is automatic but official PS leaderboard points can also be taken.)
4) Winners will be decided in SitnGo pattern (If less than 5 top position will takes away 100% prize money and so on)
5) Only 100 tourneys of MicroMillions will be taken into account..As Pokerguru mentorship program is underway..so it will be nice for individuals participating in that to test their skills..other than this it will provide a great value to ur total investment on a series( around 500$ is buyin for whole MM II series …so 40% additional investment on ur total buyin)
currently me( Bharatpoker) and Pradeep(rashii10) are in for this singles competition… once 1 more player joins this competition will Go live and a new thread will be posted by me under Online poker ….
current line up..
1) bharatpoker
2) rashii10
3) SuicideSpree
4)
5)
6)Please give ur feedback/ suggestions coming on this thread…..

hey SuicideSpree,
yaa i have no problem with 300 also…. but even if with 200 we might get 1K first prize….if there r 5 runners 🙂
Rajat,
can you process winnings via ur pokerstars account ? i mean every participant will be sending u buy-in amount to ur Pokerstars account and u can send money to winner via player to player transfer on PS… please suggest any neutral person if u r not ready…donkab0mber and rentdollarinplay are u guys in for it?

MemberI am in at $300.
prabhat bro, we may face another problem if we do it for 300… u can c problem in image attached. Do u have any solution for this? have u increased transfer sending limits? if yes how long does it takes?
i am proposing an easier solution.. let us do it for only 200$ here on forum and lets do it 100$ in head-up between us….
It will be not correct to tell every body that do it in 2 installments of 215 and 85… rather it will put more burden on rajat who is offering administrative services for this challenge free of cost
regarding other 100 for HU we can exchange once MMII ends… Hope u trust me…lol
if u have any better solution please post here..

MemberBetter solution- ask stars to increase transfer limit. They do it immediately. Transfer $215 first and ask them to increase limit and they up it instantly. I have done 1k+ transfers on multiple occasions.
Also it is doesn’t put any burden on rajat even if you did transfer in instalments, because no effort is required to receive money on your account.

MemberThanks for response prabhat ….i guess then lets do it for 300 only…i didnt knew that they increase transfer limit immediately ..lol..
yaa 300 will be kind of more cool since 14-15 days left so i guess atleast 2 more players will join…hence prize pool will go up to 1500.. which will be better and worth giving a try for each player…I am ok with acting as escrow for this challenge.
Rajat, please post ur pokerstars username so that we can ship 300 bucks their…and BTW did u got my email regarding all this?
need to start new thread with ur username where everybody can send buy in
thanks,

Keymaster@Mukul: As per your email, Pradeep, You and Prabhat are in for now. Each will tfr $300 to my account and its a winner takes all challenge. Correct?
How will the points be decided?
I have little playing history so my tfr limits are small but I will get that sorted by tomorrow (fingers crossed) and post my ID here asap.

Memberhi rajat,
yes currently 3 players are in including me. and currently winners takes all is applicable….But if participants are 6 or more then first gets 80% and second gets 20% and so on as a payout structure for standard SITNGO..
and yes each participant will transfer 300$ to you..regrading leaderboard…… as i have already created it on Google docs spreadsheet link to it is here
Only you and I can edit this spreadsheet while anybody who has a link can view it.. this leader board gets updated by me as MM II progresses.. as i will be working as a scorer….and players positions keeps on changing as it goes depending upon total points…regarding points…. there is an automatic system of calculating points provided by Pocketfives which will be used for calculation purpose…
a calculator of which can be seen here …. Other than this points keeps on updating on each players profile at P5 so just need to sum up all the MM II points after each tournament in that spreadsheet…for example a prize pool of 100K a player finishes say 125th…. he automatically get 17.45 points for that tournament….(try on calculator )
i guess u dont have to worry much about the transfer limits because receiving limits are very high… But yes u will have to send money to the winner after series ends..then u might have to increase sending limits…but as Prabhat mentioned above its done immediately by PS so there shud not be much problem…

KeymasterHey Guys,
Not sure if the real money challenge is going ahead as proposed. Instead lets just make this a fun challenge among members. I think this will be a great motivation to a few who are otherwise lacking that extra kick to put in volume.
To join just post your PS id on this thread before Event 1 of MM 2. Results will be taken from the PokerStars MM2 leaderboard ranking with the member having the highest ranking winning the challenge. Link: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/tournaments/micro-millions/player-of-the-series/
P.S: If there is substantial participation, we might add a surprise gift for the winner.

Memberhey Jdsaz and antilog.. Thanks for showing interest in this competition.. still we have only 3 runners (including me)in this competition so let us wait for 2 more runners…
Leader board points will be calculated via automatic PLB point system. If u look at this link ..u will c many competition have been organized on P5 in past and Automatic updation of PLB points takes place within 24hrs of cashing out. It will reduce work load if their are like 10+ runners and points can be calculated easily… I have written an email to admin their and most probably we will have a automatic leaderboard at P5.antilog Regarding only having NLHE event ..i am not sure automatic leaderboard point system filters NLHE events but still i will mention that in final email when i will forward username of all runners in this comp.
Moreover their are only 14-15 tournaments which are non holdem events and 85 NLH events so we can easily deduct those PLB points from total points while calculating final winner. I guess NLHE and non NLHE events will not be an issue.. -

obviously if the player is putting up 50$ he will try to play as many as possible to win…so doesn’t really matter if there is a minimum number for the events or not…

hey uttkarsh pls make a P5 account and mention ur pokerstars account their because automatic feed to leaderboard points will be calculated their.
Their is no restriction on Minimum or Maximum no of tournaments to be played. 100 Tournaments of micromillion will be counted for ur total PLB score either u play 1 or all 100. -

Membertrue playing 30 events is a must to have any chance of winning this.. morever going deep is more important than just ITM …since major PLB points are on FT.. so even if 20 events with min ITM may loose to 1 event win
