[/float-left][/URL”> Guess what, folks. It’s happening again. The PokerStars MicroMillions, the low-buy-in big-payoff series, is back. It’s only been a few months since Zabaleta1 won the first MicroMillions main event for $140,000.00. Now PokerStars wants to do it all over again.

The MicroMillions machine is up and running with five events settled and three more under way, the MicroMillions II series runs for 11 days (12-22 July) covering 100 big money guaranteed tournaments for players, committed low stakes grinders, leader board challengers, have-a-go heroes and those that just love the game. And, as if you needed any incentive, there are thousands of dollars in leader board rewards, the cherry on the top being a $10,000 plus expenses PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event package.

Day 1 of MicroMillions played out 6 events. Congratulations to cittadipace, geydrikh, Icegg 15rus, Toria06 and Beckersen81 who have all scored huge bankroll boosters from small buy-ins.

Event 1, $0.11+R NLHE (3x-Turbo, 100 Places Paid) : 56,870 players registered to the 1st event of MicroMillions 2. They collectively executed 328,190 rebuys(!), an average of almost six each, and an additional 19,569 add-ons. By the time the triple-length rebuy period was over, the prize pool had swelled to more than $40,000, with $7,332.37 up to for the winner. At an average buy-in of about $0.75 per player, the winner share represented a massive ROI.

      Results:
      1st: cittadipace ($7,332.37)
      2nd: Patanhday ($5,300.63)
      3rd: Franky Perez ($4,005.82)

Event #2, a NLHE 3x Turbo re-buy: When the first hand was dealt 22,198 players were seated, by the time the 90-minute registration ended that number swelled to 36,734. The bubble burst a few hours into the action when huertapoker unfortunately finished in 2251st place. That pushed the rest of the players into a minimum payout window of $5.31. It wasn’t until many hours later that the payouts surpassed the $100 mark, with 18th place paying $108.87. And tension grew at that point, as each player eliminated was one step closer to the final table
