Just one week after finishing in seventh place in the EPT Copenhagen Main Event, Steve O’Dwyer went on to win the WPT National tournament in Vejle, Denmark.
O’Dwyer started the final table as the chip leader, and never looked back, eliminating all five opponents at the final table on his way to victory.
For his win O’Dwyer earned 900,000 DKK, which is around ~$160,000 US. According to thehendonmob.com, O’Dwyer is now nearing the $2.5m mark in his career live tournament earnings.
