Prefer a larger raise preflop (even an allin; but 6,000 or so is probably best) as stated by rohit so you can isolate the raiser; but once you hit that flop the money is going in regardless of the action … you cannot fold with that many outs … don’t think you really made any huge mistake though … just one of those hands.

MemberYou can make a case for folding or shoving really – his range will be wide given he has about 10 x BB left – you have 4 players left to act behind you .. with your stack I am most likely moving allin since you have him covered .. but FOLDING is an option also; largely depends on whether I feel like gambling or waiting, but you it might be the best hand you see before the blinds eat into your stack you only have approx 15 BB ,s left so I guess it depends on how close the level change is … I would probably gamble if the blinds are due to go up before they reach you and fold if there is plenty of time left in the level.
