arite, these spots u can do the math urself and fig them out, being an IIT grad this shud be simple if u had attended the pgmp2 classes.
Anyways, there is 25k in pot and u hv to call 17343 so u r getting 1.43-1 , so u need 41% equity here.
If sb is isoing with a very tight range of AA-22,AK-A8,KQ-KJ,QJ,Ax7x-Ax3x,KxTx,QxTx u hv over 47% equity making it a trivial call, folding here u wud be loosing a lot of money in the long run against his range.

i simplified this spot a bit but there is a main pot and side pot and you will hv much higher equity in the side pot (close to 50%) and a bit lesser in the main pot(side pot is way bigger).
Wud really like someone else do the math for our equity in main pot, plugging in ranges for the btn (who with his 1,8bbs shud be very wide)

against a 35% btn shoving range and sb iso range of AA-22,AK-A8,KQ-KJ,QJ,Ax7x-Ax3x,KxTx,QxTx we have 34.5% equity for main pot.
For side pot we hv 50% equity against sb iso range of AA-22,AK-A8,KQ-KJ,QJ,Ax7x-Ax3x,KxTx,QxTx

I was just wondering what is the correct play for the SB with a weak Ace in this spot? To shove/3bet or just call?

you can find better spots to doubleup in mtt and i think its and easy fold.if you are the chip lead you can riskitup
but why do you want to risk it getting 30 to 40% equity at best?
