MemberSB: t3092 M = 4.58
Hero (BB): t9359 M = 13.87
BTN: t55049 M = 81.55Pre Flop: (t675) Hero is BB with Td Jd
BTN raises to t800, 1 fold, Hero raises to t9334 all in, BTN calls t8534Flop: (t18943) 6s Kd 3s (2 players – 1 is all in)
Turn: (t18943) 8s (2 players – 1 is all in)
River: (t18943) Ah (2 players – 1 is all in)
With a shortstack so short and a chipleader so strong should i have waited a couple of rounds until shortie gets eliminated and be contented with 2nd position or is this shove justified. It was a 45 man SnG on pokerstars so pretty decent pay jump.

MemberNo its not justified…effective M greater than 8 u can flat see flop, with 3 ppl and a short stack there is heavy ICM considerations here i would add 20% to equity required…shove only KK+

aww thats a disaster do you see fold equity in that hand may be but shoving into a chip leader is not a good idea you should wait and find for a better spot u can always put pressure on the shorties but not the cl.

flat the raise and re-evaluate the flop or fold .. but IMO flat and see if the flop hits you hard ..

MemberThis is an ICM disaster, the idea here is to play small pots and not risk your tournament life till the shorty gets knocked out and u move up in money. Got to fold this, defending is also marginal, basically I would be avoiding marginal spots till the shorty gets eliminated, especially against such a dominant chipleader.
