I would prefer check calling turn .. If betting, bet less (you bet 80%) .. Way played river calling seems fine to me ..
Edit : also cause you are bloating pot oop..

I think… you would not have any reads of the opponent as the tournament just started…
Once he calls the flop…i would prefer to keep pot small….check call…
he wouldnt value bet 7 there on the river…. straight got there (9 10) but difficult as u had 9 9….
As played…I would fold river…

I like the way this hand was played other than the turn bet sizing, which should have been ~225-260 .

Yes, no reads there. I bet big on the turn since he limp called my pre flop raise and then the c-bet. Felt he was ready to pay me of with his A high or something that sort. He hardly has a better pair than mine there. He took down the pot showing QJo.

Seems like a standard play…sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. How can you know if BTN have the goods?
