There is a real perceptive increase in numbers of Indian players grinding MTT’s online. Almost every other day there is an update in the PPA-India facebook group about one of our Indian MTT-ers reaching a final table. Must say the elusive Sunday Milly bink is not far for an Indian MTT player. Also Macau Poker Cup in April can definitely expect some Indian winners or at least multiple top 3’s and final tables.
Though I have myself given up on grinding MTT’s (except for a Sunday grind every once in a while), I and many others are always looking to buy some Sunday action of +EV players. So opt-in for your OPR/Sharkscope and post your package in the Market place.
Btw, for those who are not in the Poker Players alliance of India group on facebook, do join up. It is not an organization yet. As of now it is just a bulletin board for happenings in Indian Poker and its long term purpose is stated in the group description. It is also actively moderated by a bunch of players to ensure it remains spam free. The group is non-profit and has no revenue stream.
As for my poker game, I am pretty active on the cash game tables at FTP and PS. I don’t have a set schedule or even a set game. I could be playing rush on FTP or PLO or some mixed games on PS. This is so that it does not become a boring grind. My limit game really needs some work though. I did try the new Irish NL/PL. I was completely lost. Satyakee gave some pointers which helped. He has posted them in his blog as well. But I am sure many others would be lost as well and thus there is loads of fish money and action there now. Just make sure you are not the fish. 😉
I totally second Satyakee’s opinion on the skype group that Adi has started. We are really grateful to him for it. I really hope it does not wind up. The main purpose of this group was to be a HH review and study group but it has evolved further and has become a very nice little community. I have a small request to the players in the group: Instead of posting your hands in eye-bleed raw hh, please convert and post it in the forum. This adds to your forum activity points which gets you the precious hand histories and also helps you learn better by having discussion with a wider group of players. It is also a way of giving something back to the community.
