Coming on the heels of a firecracker weekend, where Spartan Poker’s inaugural Summer Celebration Series completed its run, Monday was a relatively dull day for online MTTs!
The small to mid-stakes players have a busy week to look forward to ahead. While PokerBaazi’s ₹4+ Crore GTD IMPS is on its final stretch, Adda52`s week-long ₹1 Crore GTD Nano Poker Series has just started.
Bashir Ahmed Bhat emerged as Monday’s single-biggest scorer. The former SPRINT runner-up finisher, Bhat, shipped PokerBaazi’s The Big Show for a career-best ₹1.79 Lakhs after striking a three-way deal with Sauvik Mahajan (2nd for ₹1.76 Lakhs) and Rishabh Kapoor (3rd for ₹1.26 Lakhs).
The sports entrepreneur settled in Dubai, Siddharth Pandey, won Adda52’s Iron Man for the second time last night, banking ₹1.68 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with ‘kothified’ (2nd for ₹1.62 Lakhs). With the Iron Man victory thrown in, Pandey made away with over ₹1.95 Lakhs, crossing ₹4 Crores in tracked online winnings.
Spartan Poker’s Monday headliner, ReCharge, played down to a three-way deal with the user ‘screw_me’ whisking away the title for a site-best ₹1.41 Lakhs. Sameer Sharma (2nd for ₹1.27 Lakhs) and Gautam Rohilla (3rd for ₹1.17 Lakhs) were the other beneficiaries of the deal.
The online MTT reg and occasional streamer, Pradip Ghosh, came out on top in PokerBaazi’s IMPS#73 and won ₹1.21 Lakhs, picking up his 10th tournament title of the year. He struck a heads-up deal with Unnikrishnan Nair (2nd for ₹99,826). Ghosh made a litany of deep runs yesterday, altogether pocketing ₹1.42 Lakhs.
Prince Singh shipped the other IMPS marquee, IMPS #76 KO (RE), netting ₹97,485.
Abhishek Chhajer broke an over five-month-long title drought by taking down PokerStars India`s Battle Royale for ₹84,690. Pranav Khandalkar finished runner-up for ₹45,256.
The former The Prestige champion Suraj N Yadav was the last player standing in Spartan Poker`s 9:30 PM Deepstack and won ₹68,558, following a three-way deal with Utkarsh Vaish (2nd for ₹57,851) & “ButterflyEffectt” (3rd for ₹55,311).

The #5 ranked player of the year, PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha, topped the Wednesday charts on the back of his victory run in Spartan Poker’s Destiny for ₹5.03 Lakhs. The former Destiny winner Paras Jain missed out on a second title, finishing runner-up for ₹3.13 Lakhs.

Sunday’s Nano Highroller champion ‘Peacelover’ (anonymity requested) grabbed their second flagship title this week in Adda52’s Maverick, netting ₹3.90 Lakhs. Rumit Khade came second for ₹2.21 Lakhs.

The tournament action was predictably slow on Monday, but Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series unleashed a power-packed lineup of events, keeping the MTT regs busy. The week ahead promises to be a treat for the micro to small-stakes players as well, with PokerBaazi’s Baazi Grinder Series commencing its run yesterday!
The biggest story of Monday was scripted by old-timer Simon Mint, who overcame a 766-strong field in Spartan Poker`s Millionaire Series #7 to collect the ₹10 Lakhs guaranteed to the winner (the site filled in the ₹2.34 Lakhs shortfall). Navin Bohani finished runner-up for ₹4.60 Lakhs.
There seems to be no stopping Young Gun Karan Radia, who shipped Iron Man for ₹2.16 Lakhs. The Sunday Special PKO runner-up finisher Abhishek Chhajer missed out on the top spot yet again, netting ₹1.28 Lakhs in second place. Radia also placed runner-up in PokerStars India’s Battle Royale for ₹61,003, adding ₹2.77 Lakhs overall.
Coming out on top in PokerBaazi`s The Big Show was the EndBoss 2020 sixth-place finisher Shubham Mahapatra, who won the title for ₹1.77 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Abhimanyu Mittal (2nd for ₹1.60 Lakhs).

Last night`s Iron Man champion, Young Gun Karan ‘The Annihilator’ Radia, came second for ₹61,003 (includes ₹10,957 in bounties).
This was Mayank Maruka’s sixth title win of the year. He also cashed in the Grinders#5 PLO Boost, finishing 24th for ₹1,476, raking in ₹1.01 Lakh overall!

Young Gun Karan ‘Reg_slayer’ Radia (opted-out from tracking) was the last player standing and won ₹2.16 Lakhs, with this week`s Sunday Special PKO runner-up finisher Abhishek ‘abhiom’ Chhajer settling in second place (yet again) for ₹1.28 Lakhs.
Karan Radia was hunting a second title in PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale and placed runner-up for ₹61,003, adding over ₹2.77 Lakhs for the day`s work!
Abhishek Chhajer cashed another three events, collecting ₹1.38 Lakhs. His online stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹59.35 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹11.83 Lakhs
The ₹3 Lakhs GTD Voyager logged in a 304-entry field, and the top 30 places got a share of the ₹3.04 Lakhs prize pool. ‘lakshayadhikari’ was the last player standing and won ₹77,824, defeating Naveen ‘Naveenbarkhageetu’ Sharma (2nd for ₹46,360) in the heads-up play.
Mohak ‘sparkie’ Kapoor cashed in seven events – making FT finishes in three of them – for a total take-home of ₹52,465.
