Daily Majors: Siddharth Rajan, Vinay B & Vaibhav Bhatia Shine in the Monday Flagships
Mondays are always the slowest days on the virtual felts but with two big-ticket series, Spartan Poker’s IOPC 14.0 and PokerStars India’s Red Spade Series, wrapping up on Sunday, exhaustion seems to have set in for players. With most of the domestic circuit resting up, the Monday MTTs expectedly witnessed a sizeable drop in traffic, resulting in significant overlays. Additionally, with most top regs taking the day off, numerous upcoming players got the opportunity to shine.
Siddharth Rajan was Monday`s biggest money churner. The former NPS silver medallist championed Adda52’s Iron Man for a site-best ₹2 Lakhs, closing a 20-month-long title slump. Dhiraj Lakhotia fired ten bullets in the Monday headliner, but managed to book a profit, netting ₹1.21 Lakhs in second place (won ₹1.29 Lakhs overall).
The Monday lineup on Spartan Poker was rather bare. However, The CashMaker – Triple Chance still managed to surpass its advertised guarantee, crowning a winner in Vinay B, who took home ₹1.25 Lakhs (from two stacks). He fired up another four deep runs, rounding up ₹1.73 Lakhs overall, crossing ₹7 Crores in tracked online winnings.
Devashish Jain (2nd for ₹1.12 Lakhs), Prem Poonia (3rd for ₹1.09 Lakhs), and Dhawal Bagaria (4th for ₹1.09 Lakhs) benefitted from a four-way FT deal struck in The CashMaker – Triple Chance.
PokerBaazi’s Monday showstopper was the PC#15 (PLO-5) that ran as a part of the ongoing PLO Championship Series. The current PC leaderboard topper ‘hik18’ shipped PC#15 (PLO-5) for ₹2.24 Lakhs (won ₹2.56 Lakhs overall) – bagging their second title at the series and fourth FT score – further cementing their lead in the leaderboard standings.
‘Yash9995’ clinched their second title on PokerBaazi’s in The Big Show for a site-best ₹1.38 Lakhs, following a five-way deal with ‘1299sanj’ (2nd for ₹1.15 Lakhs), Siddharth Pandey (3rd for ₹1.04 Lakhs), ‘pokerdonk99’ (4th for ₹1.01 Lakhs) and ‘deepanshu02′ (5th for ₹93,642).
‘angrydevil’ made their first top finish on PokerBaazi, nailing the 7:30 PM Daily Value Boost for a personal-best ₹1.07 Lakhs after striking a five-way deal with Vikas Vashisth (2nd for ₹94,362), ‘shraban56’ (3rd for ₹90,043), ‘arr86’ (4th for ₹78,976) and ‘Playcool’ (5th for ₹75,391).
‘saurav29’ (Won PC#16 (PLO-6) for a personal-best ₹1.36 Lakhs), ‘CharPatteWala’ (Won PC#14 (PLO-4) for a site-best ₹1.21 Lakhs), and Prateek Kukranji (Won PC#13 (PLO-5) for a site-best ₹1.28 Lakhs) won the other PLO Championship titles on Monday.
PokerStars India loyalist Vaibhav Bhatia ended an eight-month-long dry spell with a victory march in the site`s Eliminator [8-Max], netting ₹1.20 Lakhs.
Vivekk Dube, Sanjay Mohan, Kashish Sachdev, Shailesh Kumar Patel, Divya Raushan, Ashish Pareek, and Sambantha Sedhuraman shipped the other Monday marquees.

Spartan Poker
With the IOPC all set to kick off on July 11, Spartan Poker skipped this week’s The Millionaire, leaving The Elite to headline its Friday roster. Sporting a ₹11,000 entry buy-in, The Elite garnered a 269-player pool, but it wasn’t enough to meet its ₹30 Lakhs guarantee, leaving a ₹3.10 Lakhs overlay deficit.
We keep referring to Sagar ‘maniacmachi’ Choudhury as an online beast, and he keeps proving exactly why that nomenclature is apt for him. Since the start of July, Choudhury has already final-tabled seven events, and last night, he took down The Elite, booking his first title win for the month. Sagar Choudhury cut a three-way deal with Akshat ‘doubledown’ Sharma (runner-up for ₹4.48 Lakhs) and Meet ‘gogobhai’ Jariwala (3rd for ₹4.39 Lakhs) before taking down the title and a ₹4.75 Lakhs top prize.
Ranked #12 on the annual leaderboard, this was Sagar Choudhury’s third time winning The Elite. His stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹6.66 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.12 Crores
Another player who has been on a rampage lately is Vivekk ‘MI7’ Dube. The man from Mumbai started off the week in style by taking down PokerBaazi’s BSS#4 SuperStack on Sunday. Sticking to his winning form, he came out on top in the ₹9.50 Lakhs GTD Futuristic last night for ₹1.86 Lakhs. A three-way deal saw Siddharth ‘champ-ak’ Pandey (runner-up for ₹1.31 Lakhs) and ‘Mokhembo69’ (3rd for ₹1.17 Lakhs) also secure podium finishes.
Vivekk Dube scored in two more flagships, pocketing ₹3.78 Lakhs in cumulative earnings. His ITM finishes include:
> 1st in Spartan Poker’s Futuristic for ₹1,86,946
> 4th in PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller for ₹1,13,538
> 8th in Spartan Poker’s The Elite for ₹78,300
PokerBaazi
PokerBaazi’s ₹12 Lakhs GTD The Weekly HighRoller was taken down by Thursday`s ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD Turbo winner Karan ‘collingwood’ Sitlani for a cool ₹3.40 Lakhs. Sitlani had won two tickets to the ₹11,000 entry buy-in event through ₹550 online satellites and used them both (and a third) to win the title. The user ‘Jack77777’ finished runner-up for ₹2.38 Lakhs. The event gathered 127 entries and collected a profitable ₹12.70 Lakhs prize pool.
Arish ‘YKNjonsnow’ Taraporewala struck a heads-up deal with ‘cerealkiller’ (runner-up for ₹53,306) before taking down PokerBaazi’s ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD Holdem Boost DST for ₹61,344.

In the end, Umesh Sharma emerged victorious as he walked away with a winner’s paycheque worth ₹1.91 Lakhs (includes ₹90,711 in bounties), while Armaan Kochhar had to contend with a second-place payout worth ₹1.15 Lakhs (includes ₹15,000 in bounties).
