  i agree with you. but they are here for business and 95% of indian players are unaware of these facts. so they are basically exploiting the players bec of their unawareness. we dont have any option so stuck with the available option.

  I’m frm India and I’ve been playing poker for almost 4 years now..BUt the shitty thing about Indian websites is what you clearly mentioned..
  so HIGH RAKES!

  That’s what drove me to play on Pokerstars..
  I mean, i understand they’re running the websites as a business and want to make money..but I just wonder if they realise how many good players they’re losing just because of this reason!!!
  
  And…talking about downloadable client facility..
  Dude, its India..!
  Lets just be thankful we’ve got web based gaming!
  be it Adda or Khelo, i dont think the’yre ever gonna introduce this..

  Sikkim and Goa has good live cash games, but pretty high taxes for poker winnings here (30%). Online websites currently Adda52 is the biggest website but as mentioned by the original poster, the rakes are very high. I’ve heard rumors of a new website coming up next month with much reduced rake and a better client/web browser software. An interesting article I came across – **. The poker scene isn’t very healthy for online players currently, in my opinion.

  There’s a new site called Noble Aces which is worth trying. Lower rakes and much better software. Good first deposit bonus as well.
