FTOPS XXV Returns on Full Tilt Poker from March 30 – April 13
Full Tilt Poker sponsored Full Tilt Poker Online Poker Series (FTOPS), is all set to host its twenty-fifth edition later this month. To mark the silver jubilee of the series, a range of exciting new features and tournament formats will be included in what is being touted to be the best FTOPS series till date!
Full Tilt Poker`s most popular series i.e. FTOPS XXV is structured to host 31 events with a massive guaranteed prizepool of over $6 million and is set to run from March 30th till April 13th.
Established in 2006, FTOPS is held approximately every three months and consists of a wide variety of tournaments with 23 different game variants featured till date, including rush poker tournaments, multi-entry tournaments, re-entry tournaments and many more.
The series will also include two new tournament types – Flipout Tournaments (all in on every hand until the bubble bursts) and Multi-day Tournaments (tournaments played out over more than one day). These tournaments include a variety of poker games, which have increased over a period of time. Few variants included for this edition are HORSE, Razz and 6-Card Omaha, plus three Mystery Events.
In addition to this, an all-new range of exciting Special Features will be introduced for this iteration of the series, including MyFTOPS, the FTOPS XXV Flip Freerolls, and FTOPS Satellite Hero.
The series is slated to run for two weeks, and will be concluded with the Main Event on Sunday, April 13th, at 13:30 ET. With a guarantee of $1.5 million, the $635 main event will surely be the highlight of the series and will follow a re-entry format, i.e. if players are knocked out while late registration is available, they will have the opportunity to re-enter.
– The $2,100 buy-in Two-Day Event: with a re-entry format, this event will have a guaranteed prize pool of $500K and is set to take place on April 12th (Event 28).
– The Multi-Day tournaments: features multiple day 1`s enabling players to choose the start day that suits them (Event 2 and 17).
– Mystery Event: $215 mixed limit 25-game with a guaranteed prize pool of $25,000 (Event 6)
– Mystery Event: features at least $25,000 in prize money a 4-handed no limit hold’em tournament (Event 18).
– Mystery Event: New and exclusive to Full Tilt Poker, Flipout Tournaments with a guaranteed prizepool of $25,000 (Event 27).
There are more exciting prizes up for the grabs at this edition of the FTOPS. The FTOPS XXV brings flip freerolls where players will be given one flip freeroll ticket for every FTOPS XXV entry they make.Players stand a chance to win a share of $25,000 worth of tournament tickets, cash, exclusive FTOPS XXV merchandise and more in the FTOPS XXV Flip Freerolls. In all there are 25 FTOPS Flip Freerolls and prizes in each freeroll will vary and will be specified in the tournament description.
What’s more, FTOPS XXV will feature many additional prizes:
· All players who make the final table of any FTOPS XXV event will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket.
· Players who win an FTOPS XXV event will receive the jacket, along with a gold FTOPS jersey* and a coveted gold-jersey avatar for use on Full Tilt Poker.
· The player who finishes first on the FTOPS XXV Leaderboard will win a four-month Black Card Pro Sponsorship contract, starting on Thursday, May 1st.
