June 21 seemed to be a good day for Team India with loads of scores pouring in from the various bracelet events at the 50th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). Though the dynamic duo of Raghav Bansal (3rd for $88,410 – ₹61.64 Lakhs) and PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja (5th for $48,914 – ₹34.10 Lakhs) fell short of the bracelet in Event #42, they did manage to post the most prominent scores by the Indian contingent at the ongoing series so far. Team India’s run in Event #44: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Bounty also came to an end on Day 2 with all the four challengers who had made it through to Day 2, finishing in the money.

PokerGuru Staking’s Madhav Gupta (114th for $1,915 – ₹1.33 Lakhs) was the last man from the Indian contingent to be eliminated. He joined Nipun Java (165th for $1,741- ₹1.21 Lakhs), Nikita Luther (172nd for $1,603 – ₹1.11 Lakhs) and Vinod Megalmani (222nd place for $1,495 – ₹1.04 Lakhs) at the rail, before the day’s play had concluded.

Damjan Radanov (4,625,000) bagged the biggest stack of the day and leads the 23 finalists to Day 3 which will commence at noon (Pacific Time Zone) on June 21.
