The 16th event of the ongoing 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online, i.e., the $500 No-Limit Hold’em Turbo, has now concluded. After attracting 1,528 entries, comprising 1,044 unique entries and 484 re-buys, the event generated a $687,600 prize pool. It took nearly eight hours of rigorous play before a champion was crowned in “Heezahustla” who claimed the coveted gold bracelet, and $116,204 in prize money.
While the player’s real name was yet to be released at the time of filing of this report, nevertheless, WSOP should be revealing the name in due course.
“Heezahustla” had started the final table as one of the shorter stacks and immediately began building their stack by eliminating “cbmezz99” from the competition. They dismissed “Mojoesmarc” and Lev “Methinks” Milman to take over the chip lead heading into the heads-up. It was a short-lived heads-up finale, and Julian “Julian” Parmann ultimately lost the title to “Heezahustla”.
Eric “circleball” Baldwin was the unfortunate tournament bubble in 249th place.
Blake “shampainpopn” Whittington (24th for $3,506.76), Philip “tomte” Yeh (38th for $2,337.84), Kevin “ImaLuckSac” MacPhee (121st for $962.64), Jason “haderade” Somerville (189th for $756.36) and Ryan “im.sorry” Torgersen (230th for $687.60), were among the known names who crossed the money line.
Multiple bracelets winner and GGPoker Ambassador Daniel “DNegs” Negreanu, who has been in the hunt for his elusive seventh bracelet, picked up his seventh cash of the series, finishing 86th for $1,168.92. He has been regularly live-streaming his progress in the series, and you can catch how he did in Event #16 below.
Following the elimination of Ryan “WHOSYOURDODD” Dodd in 10th place for $7,013.52, the nine-handed final table was set up.

Final Table Recap
The first player to hit the rail was “cbmezz99” when their was bested by “Heezahustla”s that flopped a set, eliminating the former in ninth place.
About five minutes later, Phillip “AvonB” Rhodes pitted his against Lev “Methinks” Milman’s . The board offered no help to Rhodes, dismissing him in eighth place.
Down to seven-handed play, “http401”s went up against “Mojoesmarc”s . The rundown saw “Mojoesmarc” hit a pair of kings on the river, busting “http401” in seventh place.
“Mojoesmarc” persisted with their form and eliminated Daniel “StayActive” Chan in sixth place. The hand in question saw Chan’s lose out to “Mojoesmarc”s , after the latter rivered a pair of aces.
Next to go was Andrea “Andrewbull88” Buonocore when his were cracked by “Mojoesmarc”s pocket cowboys. Buonocore bowed out in fifth place.
Despite dominating the final table for a while, “Mojoesmarc”s dream run came to an end in fourth place. They open-shoved UTG for 4.41 Million, and “Heezahustla” called over the top from the button.

The community cards revealed . Even though “Mojoesmarc” flopped a pair of tens, it was no match for “Heezahustla”s trip jacks.
Less than five minutes later, Lev “Methinks” Milman‘s ran into “Heezahustla”s . The board bricked, knocking Milman out in third place.
The heads-up play began with “Heezahustla” (33,300,000) enjoying a commendable lead over Julian “Julian” Parmann (12,400,000). Early into the heads-up match, Parmann lost a big pot to his rival and was only left with 10 big blinds. Predictably, the tournament ended soon after that.
On the final hand, Parmann moved all-in preflop for his last 10.13 Million and “Heezahustla” promptly called, tabling . Parmann showed . The board gave “Heezahustla” a flopped set of dueces, ending Parmann’s run in second place.
“Heezahustla” walked away with the prestigious WSOP bracelet and a hefty $116,204 payday!
