The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series has a little over a week left from finding a new World Champion. The chef-d’oeuvre of the series, the $25 Million guaranteed Event #77: $5,000 NLHE Main Event, has completed 16 out of its 23 scheduled flights. The event has garnered only 2,631 entries so far making it very evident that the Main Event will register a landslide overlay. So far, 478 runners have made it through to Day 2.

Day 1P played out on August 27 and had many poker heavyweights featured among the 44 survivors from a starting field of 239 entries. An anonymous user ‘stamina22’ bagged the chip lead with a stack of 994,190.
The other prominent players advancing to Day 2 included former bracelet winners Jeremy “TheKid101” Pekarek (532,977), Ravid “jerbi9999” Garbi (390,180) and Timur “Avocado Love” Margolin (369,992).
Indian player “Hazard9” (188,719) also bagged a stack at the end of Day 1P.
The Day 1L chip leader Kahle Burns (1,387,282) still holds the overall chip lead.
