Event #14: $3,200 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller of the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series is now in the books. After 14 hours of intense play on Tuesday, the 496-entry field was trounced by 2015 WSOP Main Event champion Joe “fanofdapoker” McKeehen!
The 29-year-old enjoys superstar status in the game with $10 Million in WSOP cashes and three WSOPC gold rings under his belt. He added yet another coveted bracelet to his tally, while also boosting his bankroll by $352,985.
Following his landmark 2015 WSOP Main Event victory, McKeehen had claimed his second career bracelet in Event #38: $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship at the 2017 WSOP for $311,817. As of July 2020, McKeehen’s total live tournament winnings exceed $16,600,000.
The pro from North Wales, Pennsylvania, started the final table with the third-largest stack. By the time he entered the heads-up finale against Frank “thewholefunk” Funaro, McKeehen was staring at a sizeable chip deficit. Nevertheless, he fought hard and turned the tides in his favor, successfully claiming his third gold bracelet.
With the top 63 places assured payouts, Chris “camdi” Ferguson fell out on the tournament money bubble.
Several notables finished in the money including Blake “CheeetahGirl” Bohn (15th for $14,022.91), Event #12 winner Ryan “joeyisamush” Depaulo (16th for $11,459.58), Loren “BabyJesus” Klein (18th for $11,459.58), Ryan “protential” Laplante (29th for $8,293.12) and Maria “bluerat” Konnikova (56th for $6,031.36).
Indo-American player Shankar “Burgersssss” Pillai fell out two places short of the final table. His was busted by Clayton “nevarlucky” Maguire’s that bettered to a two pair on the flop, ending Pillai’s run in 10th place for $17,490.94.
About two minutes later, Dave “Dunningkrugr” Alfa‘s ran into Frank “thewholefunk” Funaro’s . The board bricked, and Alfa bubbled the final table, placing ninth for $22,316.03.

Final Table Recap
The first player to be dismissed from the final table was David “newjerz05” Jackson when his was bested by “SoccerDJ`”s . Though Jackson hit top pair on the board [, it was no match for the latter’s pocket rockets, ousting Jackson in eighth place.
Towards the end of Level 33, “SoccerDJ” claimed their next victim in Nathan “innate9” Russler. The latter’s were overrun by “SoccerDJ’s” , leading to Russler’s seventh-place exit.
Former WSOP bracelet winner Clayton “nevarlucky” Maguire had started out as the final table chip leader, but could not hold on to his advantage for too long. At the start of Level 34, Maguire doubled up against “SoccerDJ”, but it wasn’t of much help. Less than five minutes later, Maguire’s were cracked by Frank “thewholefunk” Funaro’s that hit a pair of sevens on the turn, eliminating Maguire in sixth place.
“SoccerDJ” had a rather swingy time on the final table. They had started out with the shortest stack but made a comeback of sorts after eliminating Jackson and Russler. However, their dream run came to an end in fifth place when the mystery player’s was defeated by Funaro’s on the runout .
Soon after that, Funaro pitted his against “Jaydestar17’s” . The runout revealed , eliminating “Jaydestar17” in fourth place.
Finishing in third place was Roland “prngls12” Israelashvili. His ran into Funaro’s . The board missed both players and Funaro’s pocket sixes held, forcing Israelashvili out of the competition.
The heads-up between Frank “thewholefunk” Funaro (9,153,383) and former WSOP Main Event champion Joe “fanofdapoker” McKeehen (3,246,617) saw the latter starting out on the back foot. Still, he quickly made a comeback and went on to win his third WSOP bracelet!
On the final hand, McKeehen opened for 320,000, and Funaro 3-bet jammed for 2.75 Million. McKeehen called.
