The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series is precisely a week in the running on WSOP.com, and there has been one bracelet given away each day! The latest winner at the series was Joon “jykpoker” Kim, who powered his way through a stacked field of 989 players to win Event #7: $800 No-Limit Hold ’em Knockout Deepstack. The tourney generated a prize pool worth $731,660 and took 12 hours to find a champion!
Kim had entered the final table with the second largest stack. He eliminated PokerNews Podcast co-host Jeff “mavsusc” Platt, “smallmytable”, Eric “circleball” Baldwin, and eventual runner-up “bunsamillion,” before capturing his first-ever WSOP gold bracelet, along with the $103,127 top prize that included $3,000 in bounties!
Sean “PetyrBaelish” Hegarty was the tournament bubble and exited in 144th place.
The other notables who crossed the money line included Layne “scoop87” Flack (13th for $4,486.10), Ryan “bitc0in” Riess (33rd for $2,403.27), Jared “DarrensRabbi” Jaffee (56th for $1,495.36), Matt “RubberFist” Stout (80th for $1,228.33) and Brian “JackBogle” Altman (86th for $1,121.52).
Indo-American pro and two-time WSOP bracelet winner Nipun “javanti” Java added another WSOP cash to his tally, finishing 103rd for $961.30.
Following the elimination of “bunchman13” in 10th place for $5,661.03, the nine-handed final table was formed.

Final Table Recap
“thehofffx” was the first player to depart when their big slick was cracked by “smallmytable’s” pocket jacks, ending the former run in ninth place.
Four minutes later, “fan_sawyer21” pitted their against Eric “CircleBall” Baldwin’s , which bettered to a pair of nines on the river, sending “fan_sawyer21” to the rail in eighth place.
Towards the end of Level 41, PokerNews Podcast co-host Jeff “mavsusc” Platt‘s were up against Joon “jykpoker” Kim’s . The board ran and Kim flopped a pair of queens, eliminating Platt in seventh place.
Kim was on a roll, and soon after Platt, he took out “smallmytable.” The latter’s were no match for Kim’s . The board bricked, and Kim’s aces held, ousting “smallmytable” in sixth place.
Finishing in fifth place was Ian “APokerJoker2” Steinman when his ran into “bunsamillion’s” . The runout gave “bunsamillion” a set of kings, prompting Steinman’s exit.
At the start of Level 43, Jason “Gunner_Q10” Gunn jammed from UTG with , and Baldwin moved all-in over the top from the small blind, holding . The missed both players. Baldwin’s ace kicked won him the pot, knocking Gunn out in fourth place.
Even after winning the last of Gunn’s chips, Eric “circleball” Baldwin could not stay on for much longer. His pocket sevens were bested by Kim’s pocket rockets, resulting in Baldwin’s departure in third place.
The heads-up began with Joon “jykpoker” Kim (25,000,000) commanding a massive chip lead over “bunsamillion” (4,695,888). The latter fought hard to make a comeback and even secured two double-ups in the process. But in the end, the chip deficit was too overwhelming for “bunsamillion.”
On the final hand, Kim moved all-in from the button, and “bunsamillion” called with his last 2.80 Million from the big blind.
