The grandest event of the inaugural 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series, Event #77: $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, features a monstrous $25 Million guarantee. The fourth starting flight commenced on August 19 and logged in 68 contenders. Only seven players managed to advance to Day 2.
Canada’s Stuart “bigdad” Wallensteen bagged the biggest stack of 625,267, while “TTVTT” (594,852) and Maicon “21_Pirlo” Gasperin (582,309) were a distant second and third in chips, respectively. Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Mark Radoja was the last on the list of Day 1D survivors to book a seat to Day 2.
The $25 Million GTD Main Event has registered 756 entries so far (Day 1A – 464, Day 1B – 114, Day 1C – 110 and Day 1D – 68) and a total of 150 runners (Day 1A – 99, Day 1B – 25, Day 1C – 19 and Day 1D – 7) have made it through to Day 2.
Day 1A chip leader Samuel Vousden is presently the overall chip leader with a stack of 717,497. Notably, no Indian player has made it across to Day 2 yet.
Day 1E starts at 7 PM UTC on August 20.
