Event #25: $500 No-Limit Hold ’em Summer Saver of the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series on WSOP.com crowned a champion in Nicholas “mrfinalt” Kiley! After battling it out for 12 hours, he trounced a field of 2,155 entries (1,484 unique and 671 re-buys) and banked the lion’s share of the $969,750 prize pool worth $149,245!
The Utica, New York resident, has $57,088 in total live tournament winnings. Before this win, Kiley had 12 WSOP cashes under his belt worth a cumulative $29,665.
He had entered the final table with the third-largest stack and went on to eliminate Michael “ha8me” Policastro, Matt “berkey11_s4y” Berkey and Stephen “S.Dot22” Russo, before facing Guo Liang “Ct188” Chen heads-up for the title. Though he had started out on the backfoot, Kiley still managed to whisk the chip lead away from Chen and, ultimately, capture his career-first WSOP bracelet!
After “UpBreaker” bubbled the tournament in 331st place, the remaining players were assured payouts.
The poker heavyweights who made it in the money included the likes of Ryan “rbam13” Bambrick (13th for $7,467.07), Tommy “BBANTE” Bates (35th for $3,782.02), Joe “fanofdapoker” McKeehen (57th for $2,230.42), Tyler “IloseStackz” Phillips (66th for $1,842.52), Brian “tsarrast” Rast (87th for $1,454.62) and Ryan “adopt_adogg0” Leng (102nd for $1,260.67).
Ofir “panda15” Mor bubbled the final table when his was bested by Matt “berkey11_s4y” Berkey’s , which bettered to a flush on the runout . Mor banked $12,315.82 for his ninth-place finish.

Even after starting out with a mid-sized stack, Michael “ha8me” Policastro became the first player to be eliminated from the final table. His ran into Nicholas “mrfinalt” Kiley’s . The latter found trips treys on the board , ousting Policastro in eighth place.
Towards the end of Level 44, “Daddyp69”s went up against Matt “berkey11_s4y” Berkey’s . The board blanked eliminating “Daddyp69” in seventh place.
About 15 minutes later, it was Kevin “SpecialK333” Calenzo’s turn to depart from the final table. His was no match for Weiyi “wymoney” Mo’s . While both players paired their ace on the board , Mo’s King-high kicker won her the pot, eliminating Calenzo in sixth place.
Despite starting out as the final table chip leader, Matt “berkey11_s4y” Berkey failed to convert the opportunity and fell four places short of the bracelet. He jammed from the button for 3.23 Million, and Kiley called from the small blind holding . Berkey turned over . The rundown saw Kiley flopping three-of-a-kind tens, dismissing Berkey in fifth place.
Five minutes later, Stephen “S.Dot22” Russo opened for 1.04 Million from the UTG, and Kiley 3-bet jammed for 16.99 Million from the big blind. Russo called with his last 4.72 Million.

The board ran out , and Kiley’s rivered nine-high straight, knocked Russo out in fourth place.
The lone female warrior on the final table, Weiyi “wymoney” Mo came excruciatingly close to clinching the title, but ultimately walked out in third place. Her elimination came about when Guo Liang “Ct188” Chen raised to 800,000 from the button, and Mo called from the big blind. Mo moved all-in on the flop . Chen promptly called tabling . Mo showed . Chen was in the lead with the pair of sixes. The turn and river bricked for Mo, sending her to the rail.
The heads-up between Guo Liang “Ct188” Chen (23,590,000) and Nicholas “mrfinalt” Kiley (19,500,000) began with the former enjoying a sizable lead. Nevertheless, Kiley managed to overcome the chip deficit before winning his first-ever WSOP bracelet!
On the final hand, Kiley opened for 800,000 and Chen 3-bet to 2.47 Million. Kiley called to see the flop. Chen led out for 2.12 Million, and Kiley called again. The turn brought . Chen checked, and Kiley fired a bet of 5.05 Million. Chen called, and the river fell . Chen checked yet again, and Kiley jammed for 15.63 Million. Chen putting his tournament life on the line, made the call for 8.06 Million.
