The 2022 Asian Poker Tour (APT) Vietnam Ho Chi Minh, which kicked off on August 8 at the Saigon Poker Club, has completed five days of action. Sadly, with the Asian Poker Tour website crashing, we have not been able to provide regular updates on the series where a large Indian contingent is in attendance.

While several side events have crowned champions, the series’ star attraction, the VND 6 Billion GTD APT Main Event, is well underway. The 2017 APT Macau Head Hunter champion, Manoj Pentakota (189,800), and the 2022 APT Summer Festival Hanoi – VSOP Deep Stack Hyper Turbo winner Amit Kaushik (169,200) feature among the top five stacks at the start of Day 2 among 203 survivors. Avneesh Munjal (78,700), Vinayak Bajaj (28,700), Nikhil Kedia (20,800), and Rising Star Ritwik Khanna (17,600) are the other Indians who will be returning for Day 2 on August 14.
