Samy Dighlawi (cover-image) topped the 74-player field in the two-day-long Event #4: $900 NLHE at the 2022 Stairway To Millions at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, walking away with an $11,330 cash prize and a seat worth $2,740 for Event #7. Kevin Thomas cashed $7,086 in second place and also got a free ticket to Event #7.

Dighlawi’s victory was a redemption of sorts, for he made a fourth-place finish in Event #2: $460 NLHE. He has been running hot in live tournaments this year as this was his 56th cash and 24th title win of 2022. His career-best score remains the $56,683 he won in the 2021 WSOP $1,000 NLHE Tag Team last year.

Jerry Dababneh and Yuzu Wang were two unlucky players who busted on the money bubble at the same time. They split the 12th place payout and the $1,640 seat, which resulted in each player receiving $1,249 and $1,248, respectively.

The $900 buy-in event registered a starting field of 74 runners. The $59,200 prize pool was distributed among the top 12 finishers.

The first four events of the series are already over, and Event #5 is underway. Young Gun Arsh Grover won Event #3: $900 NLHE, and we will hope to see him in action in Event #6: $1,640.
