The 2024 PokerGO Tour (PGT) Last Chance series at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas has come to a thrilling conclusion, and one player stood above the rest: Shannon Shorr (cover image). He capped off an incredible run by taking down Event #6: $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em, besting a stacked field of 116 entries to claim his second title of the series, his fourth PGT title overall, and a sweet $290,000 payday.

Shorr dominated early on, finishing Day 1 as the chip leader heading into the final table. Despite a bit of a stumble on Day 2, he rallied back, ultimately defeating 2024 WSOP Main Event fifth-place finisher Boris Angelov in the heads-up battle. Angelov walked away with $179,800 for his runner-up finish.

This victory was Shorr’s second title in just one week, following his win in Event #2 and his third cash of the series. These consistent performances earned him $611,700 in total winnings for the series, catapulting him to the top of the leaderboard and guaranteeing him one of the coveted Dream Seats to the 2024 PGT $1 Million Championship.

With this latest win, Shorr’s lifetime live tournament earnings have now soared to over $14.345 Million!

Dream Seats Awarded

Shannon Shorr‘s dominance in the PGT Last Chance series was undeniable. He tied Brandon Wilson for the most titles with two victories, but his consistent performance across all six events, including three cashes, gave him the edge. He finished at the top of the leaderboard with 612 points, earning a Dream Seat into the 2024 PGT $1 Million Championship.

Brandon Wilson, who won Event #3 and Event #4, also earned a Dream Seat without the need for further heroics. Meanwhile, Martin Zamani, who won Event #5, had to sweat it out a bit during the Event #6 final table. He needed both Jeremy Becker and Dylan Linde to fall short of surpassing his 303 points – and they did! Zamani claimed the third and final Dream Seat!
