Josh Reichard & Mo Nuwwarah Claim WSOPC Rings on Same Day

Nine-time World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) gold ring winner Josh Reichard and poker reporter Mo Nuwwarah are roommates. The duo have recently grabbed the limelight with their same-day win of two World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) events at the currently underway Horseshoe Hammond stop.

Nuwwarah who is also a long-time poker reporter won the $600 HORSE event in the series on Tuesday, banking a payday of $14,008. In the heads-up play, he had to confront Michael Hanson, who fought long and hard to stake claim on the title. The duel lasted nearly three hours before Hanson could claim victory.

“It was a long battle, it was back and forth. I was down to nine bets, then he was down to five bets, then he came back. It’s limit poker; you just have to go through the swings,” Nuwwarah said. This was his second win in a mixed tournament. In 2016 he had defeated Barry Greenstein heads-up to ship the PokerStars Festival New Jersey $340 8-Game Championship for $4,032.
