March has all the makings to be a blockbuster month for tournament players on India’s leading online poker site PokerBaazi. After an electrifying two months of non-stop promotions, the brand has further stepped up the action by announcing a bigger-than-ever third edition of its flagship MTT offering – the 1000X Series.
Running for ten days from Friday, March 3 to Sunday, March 12, the ultra-value 1000X Series 3.0 packs a punch and more – boasting a significant 30% increase in prize money compared to the last two editions. A jaw-dropping ₹6.50 Crores awaits players in the upcoming series.
“One thousand times the value” is the mantra here as, like the last two editions, each tournament at 1000X Series 3.0 sports a prize pool guarantee of 1000X the buy-in, promising abundant value and a great return on investment for players. In an online poker segment overloaded with MTT offerings, PokerBaazi’s relatively new 1000X Series offer players super-value across well-structured tournaments.
The MTT fest follows up on PokerBaazi’s recent “UpGreat” of its poker app and will take off right after the biggest-ever The MoneyMaker 30.0 on March 1. PokerBaazi is also readying up to host the prestigious National Poker Series India 2023 (March 29 – April 16), so the 1000X 3.0 is the perfect interlude between the bigger excitements coming your way.
Looking at the schedule, we can say that the offerings are more comprehensive. There are 42 tournaments to play, six more than both the inaugural 1000X 1.0 and the follow-on 1000X 2.0. And with the buy-ins ranging from ₹550 to ₹11,000, the guarantees reflect the value offering, with the prize money on offer starting from ₹5 Lakhs and going up to ₹1 Crore.
Did we say ₹1 Crore? It was not a typo, as for the first time, the upcoming 1000X 3.0 will run the showstopper 1000X Main Event with a ₹1 Crore GTD prize pool – double the money guaranteed in the previous two editions. The Main Event begins at 6 PM on March 12.
The stakes have also been raised in the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Mini Main Event (March 8, 7.30 PM) that earlier sported a ₹35 Lakhs guarantee. The featured “Prime” tournaments are the other featured attractions, starting at 7.30 PM from Monday to Saturday and at 6 PM on Sundays.
In another value-addition, the most consistent scorers will get ranked on the 1000X Series 3.0 Leaderboard, and the 30 top-ranked players will get to share ₹10 Lakhs in Real Cash Bonus (RCB). The leaderboard topper is assured ₹2 Lakhs in RCB.

Bring out the best poker player in you by competing in 1000X 3.0. If the brand promises 1000 times the value on your buy-in, additional prizes await the most consistent players of the series. Like the previous two editions, the upcoming 1000X 3.0 features a ₹10 Lakhs GTD leaderboard that starts ticking from 3 PM on March 3, tracking everyone who finishes in the money in any tournament in the ten-day-long series.
The top 30 ranked players will get a share of the ₹10 Lakhs in Real Cash Bonus (RCB) set aside for the leaderboard, and the most consistent player will get ₹2 Lakhs RCB credited to their PokerBaazi wallet.

1000X Series – Offering 1000 Times the Value
A relatively new MTT property, PokerBaazi launched the 1000X Series in September last year, intending to offer excellent value across a curated list of tournaments. The inaugural series had a 34-tournament schedule spanning September 11 to 18. The series showstopper, ₹50 Lakhs GTD 1000X#32 – Main Event, crushed its advertised guarantee comfortably, collecting ₹59.05 Lakhs. Neel Haria won the first-ever 1000X Series Main Event for a site-best ₹7.96 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with Ankit Agarwal (2nd for ₹8.93 Lakhs).
The 1000X Series returned for its second edition last month. 1000X 2.0 got the tournament action rolling in the New Year, making the same eight-day run from January 1 – 8 and awarding over ₹5 Crores in cash prizes across 34 tournaments. The turnouts were better in the ₹50 Lakhs GTD 1000X#32 Main Event that recorded a 1,281-strong starting field, collecting ₹64.05 Lakhs in the prize pool. The two-time POY winner, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, won the Main Event for ₹7.89 Lakhs. Samay Singh Modi placed runner-up for ₹4.80 Lakhs.
Now with six more events on the tap and the guarantees of the Main Event and Mini Main Event boosted significantly, the upcoming 1000X 3.0 promises even more action and value.
