The countdown to the WSOP Main Event final table has now trickled to just three days and news has it that 888poker has signed up sponsorship deals with three of the November Niners – Joseph McKeehen, Neil Blumenfield and Thomas Cannuli. The 2015 WSOP Main Event final table will begin with the cards in the air at 5.30 pm PST on Sunday, Nov 8 at the Penn and Teller Theater at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
The choices and the deals clearly indicate the anticipation of 888poker looking at having the ultimate winner, sporting their patch while claiming the prestigious championship bracelet and the almost $8 Million top prize.
While McKeehan is the current chip leader with 63,100,100 in chips, Blumenfield has the third largest stack with 22,000, 100 and Cannuli sits at sixth place with a stack of 12,250,100; all three bring to the table unique attributes that are full of potential to be the ultimate winners.
The 24-year old Mckeehan has not only made it to the chip lead out of the original 6,420 entries at this year’s WSOP Main Event, but also has an impressive past with several scores that includes a second place in the 2014 WSOP Monster Stack. In fact, it was Mckeehan, who caused the epic moment of Daniel Negreanu rolling on the floor, when he eliminated him at 11th place, just two ranks away from the final table. The mathematics graduate is leaving no stone unturned to shine at the upcoming final table, as he has enlisted the help of a “secret” coach to help him hone his moves for weeks in advance.
Blumenfield at 61 years will be the oldest November Niner at this final table. The veteran is also President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of a business intelligence and cloud computing company based in Menlo Park, CA. called Elastic Intelligence, Inc. On his part, Blumenfield believes that McKeehan is set to grab the title, on the sheer merit of his chip advantage, yet displays an amazing confidence at his own position and hopes to overcome the former.
Of the three, Cannuli is the youngest at 23 and by just making the November Nine, he has canned himself his first seven-figure cash ever. Cannuli has been a regular at 888poker in NJ and his play-graph at the Main Event reveals a highly strategic and steady approach that got him to the final table.
Whether any of the above will actually make it, or someone else will beat them to the title, will be known in the nail-biting finish just a few days from now.
