Adda52
Adda52’s Sunday run of tournaments was headlined by the “Mystique” and a controversy! Instead of putting up a definite prize pool guarantee, Adda52 offered an ”estimated guarantee” of ₹30 Lakhs in the event. The ambiguity surrounding the guarantee roused anger among the player community as many players felt the same was misleading. Many players took to social media groups like TPG to voice these concerns. As it would go, only 281 players signed up for the Mystique, leading to a prize pool collection of ₹11.24 Lakhs. This is a significant shortfall from the ambitious ₹30 Lakhs “estimation” that the Sunday flagship started with.
Controversy apart, the user ‘royalty’ eventually claimed the bragging rights for ₹2.88 Lakhs, with ‘arushiagarwal’ (2nd for ₹1.71 Lakhs) and Sajjan ‘haitohhai’ Barnwal (3rd for ₹1.29 Lakhs) rounding out the podium finishers.
Handing out bigger prizes was the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Millions. The user ‘GajaniG’ outran a field of 264 runners to win the title for ₹6.86 Lakhs. Saturday`s Excalibur champion Vinay ‘ContemporisT’ BK walked away with a runner-up score of ₹4.09 Lakhs. The ₹11,000 buy-in tournament collected a generous ₹26.40 Lakhs prize pool.
The champion ‘GajaniG’ now has site-cashes worth ₹8.02 Lakhs, which include ₹6.98 Lakhs in net profits.
Vinay B, in the meantime, went on to win PokerBaazi’s ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD Turbo for ₹32,594. He raked in ₹4.57 Lakhs over a total of five Sunday cashes, boosting his lifetime winnings to ₹3.63 Crores.
The ₹10 Lakhs GTD Sunday Showdown clocked in 478 participants, generating a ₹10.75 Lakhs prize pool. ‘goofy25’ came out trumps and won ₹2.02 Lakhs, beating ‘Mantri97’ (2nd for ₹1.48 Lakhs) heads-up.
